For our visitors coming from Seattle, and further, getting to Vashon just got a little harder. The West Seattle Bridge, the main connection between West Seattle and Seattle, will be closed down until at least 2021. This creates complications for travel to the West Seattle Ferry. If you still wish to drive to the island you can take any off the routes listed in the photo below.

However, there is one other option for arriving on the Island from Seattle. If you do not need to bring a car onto the island, we recommend you take the Water Taxi from Downtown Seattle. The Water Taxi goes directly from the downtown Seattle dock to Vashon. Though it only allows walk ons or bikers, this is a quick easy way to get to Vashon. Once you arrive, you can either use the public transportation that picks up from the ferry, or you can give us a call and we will happily pick you up or drop your electric bikes off for you!

No matter the mode of transportation you choose, we promise that the trip to the island is well worth it. So, get away from the city and join us on island time!
