Our Boathouse Operations will resume Friday, May 8th! We have received confirmation from the State of Washington that kayaking operations, such as ours, are cleared to provide the community with the necessary equipment to recreate safely! Thus, we are asking for your help in keeping Vashon safe. Before you even show up for your reservation you can help us get you on the water faster and help reduce contact. We ask that you adhere to these policies, as they will help keep you and your loved ones safe.

(E-Biking, Camping & Glamping will be coming soon)

Be Prepared

  1. We will be reservation only! We will no longer be accepting walk in reservations. This reduces contact for everyone involved and promotes social distancing. In order to grab gear, you must make a reservation, which will be open for day of booking on the weekends (Friday-Sunday) and with 24 hour advance Monday, Tuesday & Thursday.

  2. Sign your waivers ahead of time. This is crucial to minimizing person to person contact. Before you show up make sure to sign the waivers on your personal device. If you have signed an electronic waiver with us in the past two years, and you are signing up for the same activity, then you do not have to sign a second waiver. If you are not sure that you have, please sign again! You will not receive gear until we have a waiver on file. Paddle-Adult Waiver & Paddle-Minor Waiver for those under 18 years of age.

  3. Look at our what to wear and what to bring list for Coronavirus so that you are prepared with all of the necessities for your reservation. In compliance with the state regulations we ask you bring and wear a mask when around people outside of your household. Furthermore, if you have personal hygiene items, like hand sanitizer, we ask that you bring that too. We will have extra disposable masks, gloves, hand sanitizer, and disinfectants on site.

  4. Use the restroom before coming to our location. While there are restrooms on site, minimizing the use of those will help in containing the spread of the virus.

  5. Arrive on time and return on time. Help us to reduce person to person contact. We have changed our policies and procedures for late reservations.

  6. We recommend you bring your own water bottle. If you would like a water bottle, you can purchase one of our BPA free water bottles.

  7. If you are not feeling well, or a member of your family is not feeling well, we please ask that you stay home. We are happy to discuss rescheduling as appropriate.

Thank you for understanding the changes we are implementing and we hope that you can be respectful of these policies. It is the responsibility of every individual to adhere to all ordinances for the safety of themselves and others. We believe that these are the necessary changes needed to keep you and our employees safe during these times.
